Abstract
|

|
1. Two cases of traumatic ischemic myositis of leg following fracture were presented
2. Literatures on the cause, mechanism and treatment of traumatic ischemic myositis were reviewed.
3. Many different causative factors and operative treatments of traumatic ischemic myositis of leg were widely discussed.
4. Fasciotomy to relieve the increased pressure in the unyielding compartment and making the "Living prosthesis "-(the only structures present between knee and ankle being the tibia, the fibula, the posterior :tibial vessels and nerves, the skin) are the best methods for saving leg in the treatment of traumatic ischemic myositis.
